Home Safety Assessment Program

Our Home Safety Assessment Program is a free service offered to residents of our district with the goal of helping individuals safely age in place. During this assessment, members of our team visit your home to identify potential safety concerns and opportunities to improve your living environment. 

The assessment allows us to look for common safety risks and discuss solutions that can help prevent injuries and emergencies. This may include identifying needs such as grab bars, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, assistive devices, in-home care resources, and other safety improvements. If we identify areas where additional support may be helpful, we can also connect you with trusted local resources and services. 

Our goal is simple: to help you stay safe, independent, and comfortable in your own home.
