Applications are available at the Mason County Fire District #4 Headquarters Station, 2970 SE Arcadia Rd. Shelton WA 98584 or on the District website Completed applications, resume and letter of interest must be submitted by email or in person to no later than May 7th, 2023 by 5:00 pm PST. No materials may be added to the application packet after the announcement period has closed.

The Board of Commissioners for Mason County Fire Protection District 4 is seeking applicants to be appointed commissioner for vacated Position #3. This appointment is through the end of 2023, at that time there will be an election of the voters for the remainder of the position’s term, through 2024.

The commissioner positions are 6-year terms. Fire 4 commissioners currently meet every first and third Wednesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. but are willing to work with the successful appointee’s schedule. Meetings are held at the headquarters station on Arcadia Road.

To apply, you must live within Fire District 4 boundaries; please submit a letter of interest and complete our standard job application and background authorization form. The application & background authorization form can be found on our website
